Where we began:
It all started in 2013 in a backyard garden with few plants and a passion. After a couple years in selling plants and produce at farmer’s markets in the Fort Wayne area, we began to see a need in the community. We always went home with a small amount of extra produce at the end of the markets, and our farmer friends did too. This raised the question: what happens to the leftover and ‘ugly’ produce that doesn’t sell?
Thus, Josh’s Jungle was born. We were able to begin providing incredible handmade local goods and flavorful sauces, all while reducing the mass amounts of food waste that plague our communities.
